After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we head towards our journey to Machha Khola. The distance is  Approximately 135 kilometres (84 miles) and typically takes around 7 to 9 hours. We are going to have a comfortable drive on a concrete paved road up to Dhading Besi. As you approach Soti Khola and Machha Khola road might be rough, bumpy and dusty. Our drive continues through picturesque countryside, passing by terraced fields, hilly terrain and rural landscapes. The whole day's adventurous drive ends overnight at the teahouse in Machha Khola.

On this new day, we will have our morning breakfast quite early and then start the trek. We start from Machha Khola, following the Budhi Gandaki River crossing the suspension bridge, and reach Tatopani village, known for its natural hot springs. On walking further the trail ascends through dense forests and terraced fields, reaching Dovan, below which flows the massive Budi Gandaki. As we gain elevation the landscape changes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain. After 6-7 hrs walking on rocky and uneven paths, we will conclude in Jagat, a charming village characterised by its stone-paved streets, and traditional houses. Also Upon entering the village,we will have to verify our trekking permits.

Setting off after breakfast we will walk to Salleri and view Shringi Himal (7,177 m/23,546 ft) from Jagat, then continue towards Sirish Gaon. The trail is beautiful alongside the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing the rhododendron and the bamboo forest, Himalayan pine, and the overhanging rocks on the towering peaks also enhance the scenic beauty. Continuous following the walking trail upstream of the Deng River leads to the picturesque Gurung village. Deng is going to be the final destination overnight after the walk for around 6 to 7 hours.

Today we will start our day quite early after having breakfast at Deng village. Moving further, We will cross a suspension bridge and then climb uphill sections that proceed to Ghap. We may encounter several landslide zones so we need to be extra careful. As we proceed ahead the landscapes vary from lush forests to alpine terrain. Buddhist monasteries and Chortens, creating a spiritual ambience on our way to Namrung village( 2,630 metres). We will end our 6 to 8 hour walk at a beautiful village surrounded by mountains that also offer a taste of the alpine atmosphere.

Today we will have our breakfast witnessing a fantastic view of Ganesh and Siringi Himal. Then we will leave the village behind and continue our journey uphill. We pass through forests, cross streams, and experience the alpine environment. We walk across the Hinan River originating from Linda Glacier and continue on to Sho. Then the rocky hillside route leads to Lho Gaon, with a significant monastery and breathtaking views of the majestic Manaslu range. Lho is renowned for its monastery, which is one of the major attractions of the village. The monastery itself is a work of art and spirituality, and it's set against the backdrop of the impressive mountain scenery. Taking an overnight rest at this village offers cultural experiences that make it a memorable part of your Manaslu Circuit trek.

The next morning, the picturesque view of Manaslu North (7,774 m/25,505 ft), and Manaslu (8,150 m/26,738 ft) accompanies us to our breakfast. Moving forward towards Shyala, which offers sweeping vistas of the landscape is also a great spot for having a break. We pass through rhododendron forests as well as the cooler and crisper air of the alpine environment connecting us with nature. Our destination village is Samagaon and that’s where we will head after that. Samagaon is a prominent village and a key point on the Manaslu Circuit trek, providing essential services.

We stay today at Sama Gaon for acclimatisation which reduces the risk of altitude-related illnesses. While acclimating we will explore the village, and enjoy the natural beauty and cultural experiences the area offers. We can also hike to Birendra Tal and back could take around 2 to 3 hours. Pungyen Gompa located within Samagaon exploring the monastery, interacting with the monks, and learning the culture can be part of a trek. We can also take a walk to Manasalu base camp (4,400 m) and return back to Samagaon ( 6-7 hours) . However, the high altitude may cause breathing difficulties so necessary to keep our body hydrated, walk slowly and dress appropriately for the weather.

On this day after our breakfast, we will start our exciting journey entering more alpine terrain with grasslands. There will be extended yak pastures up a broad valley and also notice a variety of birds. We climb a terraced hill on the opposite bank of the Budhi Gandaki River and there we reach Samdo, a remote village close to the Tibetan border. The trek for today is short normally around 3-4 hrs so we have enough time to explore the nearby villages or hike to Samdo Peak. Spending the night here to let your body adjust.

We started our day off with a mountain breakfast and enjoying panoramic views of the Manasalu range. The trail continues to ascend as we leave the Samdo village and takes us through alpine landscapes, with changing vegetation and rugged terrain. Dharamshala, also known as Larkya Phedi serves as the base camp for the upcoming Larkya La Pass crossing. We acclimatise properly here overnight and be prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Today is going to be a challenging yet special day as we will walk to the trail’s highest point, Larkya La Pass (5,160m / 16,929 ft). So we must wake up early and have our breakfast and cross the pass before afternoon. We head steeply uphill toward the snowed-up pass. Once you stand at the top, the panorama is magnificent Himlung (7,126m/ 23,379 ft) near Tibet and Kang Guru (6,981m /22,903 ft), and Annapurna II (7,937m / 26,040 ft). Here you will experience an unforgettable adventure that showcases the diverse and awe-inspiring landscapes of the Manaslu region. The descent to Bimthang is a steep yet stunning alpine environment, with glaciers, snowfields including meadows. Bhimthang is a great place to rest and soak in the beauty of the area.

We began our trek from Bimthang after having a proper breakfast. We descend through lush landscapes leaving the village behind and start with a gentle climb through paddy fields towards the small Karcha La Pass. We will pass through rhododendron forests moving forward and encounter main walls (stone walls with inscriptions) and Chortens (Buddhist shrines) to Tilije. Walking the easier route for around 6- 7 hours leads to a charming village called Tilije.

This is the final day we will be walking on the trails of the Manaslu region and entering the Annapurna circuit section. Moving ahead we pass through Dharapani where we will be having our lunch. We’ll experience a transition from the higher altitude landscapes to the lower valleys and lush surroundings. Then we pass through several streams and fields of wheat, crossing some suspension bridges over rivers, and large waterfalls, even adding beauty at the end of our journey.

The road journey from a rural area to the capital city Kathmandu starts after the early breakfast. We hop onto a comfortable vehicle for our bumpy ride as some sections might be rough. Along the highway enjoying glimpses of rivers, hills, and settlements, we reach Kathmandu after an 8 to 9-hour drive. In the evening, we will organise a farewell cultural dinner where your guide and one of the company representatives will accompany you.
